UPDATES (January 4th, 2017)

So, turns out it will be even longer for my computer to be set up. There's something wrong with the video thingy, and believe me we followed the instructions on how to set it up 100% to what was written. So it's not the monitor, it's the laptop that's having a hard time connecting to it. My mom suggested using an actual TV in place of the monitor, but I want to use an actual monitor (need my privacy and all that). So...*sigh*...we have the stuff we need, and it still isn't working. I hope my mom can find me a new monitor, or update the video thingy inside the laptop (but we need to see the actual computer screen which is so broken it looks like the Aurora Borealis if it was coming out of a black paintbrush...so yeah, that's the hard part to all this since the screen is literally trashed). I hope I can talk to my Uncle as he's good with computers way more than my mom or brother are.

So just letting you guys know what's going on.


Hello eveyone~! ^3^

So, turns out that thanks to my mom I will be setting up my laptop soon!  

That means I'll not only be able to do art, but I'll also be able to sell it for money (which will essentially be my 'job' as I don't have my GED yet nor do I plan on going to college due to personal reasons, plus it's better than working at a fast food place or grocery store as I'll have my own schedule and I'll be my own boss). Plus I'll be able to do Kisekae stuff again, and I have a TON of characters I plan on showing you guys~ Shee~

Now, it'll take about another month for me to get the plugs I need (shipping dates and all that) so It'll be just a bit longer before I'll be able to have everything set up. Plus, after that I'll have to set up a ton of security measures just in case and I'll have to get SAI back (or somehow get Photoshop). But after that, I'll be back full-time! I am literally SO excited, because I have a lot of stuff backlogged from months ago that I want t get done to show you guys. Plus I have to re-do characters, and post stuff I planned to before but I'll have to start from scratch on.

 

So, in a month or so, expect me to start posting a TON of stuff. I'll try to space it out evenly so it's not overwheling to you guys, but it'll still be a lot.

What I've been doing in the meantime is writing my Pokemon Fan-Story and drawing stuff in my sketchbook. Mostly character refs and basic ideas, but I'm glad I even had an empty sketchbook that I could draw in freely. It's made my hand-drawings better, so maybe when I draw stuff on my computer it'll look nicer...? At least I feel more content than before about how I draw things in my own style. Don't know if I'll ever post my sketches, but if I do then it'll be with my mom's phone (we don't have any other cameras).

Seriously, it's helped me get out ideas for character designs without fear it'll overload my computer (or will get lost among the other files I have). From now on, I'll draw them on paper first before I draw them on a computer. Gets my ideas out a lot more smoothly anyways.
